Anton Bebler

Anton Bebler is professor of political science and defense sciences in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia. The holder of a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, he is the author and editor of several books in English and Slovenian, and has written widely on comparative political systems, international relations, and military affairs. In 1992 he joined the Slovenian Foreign Service, and served as Slovenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN at Geneva until September 1997.
